Entrepreneurship on Tap

Entrepreneurship on Tap

"Global Entrepreneurship Week" is a global project which takes place every year in 160 countries simultaneously and aims to encourage young people to consider entrepreneurship as a key route to economic independence and social upgrading. The project invites young people worldwide to incorporate in their lives innovation, imagination and creativity, inspiring them to think "big", to realize ideas and make their mark.

Project "Entrepreneurship on Tap" is the flagship activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week in Israel. We invite young people which entrepreneurship is close to their hearts, to meet older and experienced entrepreneurs in bars across the country and talk to them at eye level on a glass of beer.

We collaborate with successful entrepreneurs including: Yanki Margalit, Ofer Shoshan, Marius Nacht, Izhar Shay, Igal Rotem, Chemi Peres, Prof. Ehud Weinstein, Prof. Yossi Matias, Gili Raanan, Iris Shor, Gigi Levi, Noam Lanir, Yishai Green, Shlomo Kalish, Prof. Oded Shoseyov, Dr. Giora Yaron, Prof. Irad Ben-Gal, Prof. Ehud Gazit, Prof. Yossi Shacham, Prof. David Mendlovic and many many more.

The project occasionally hosts personalities from abroad, the people who were guests: Facebook Like button inventor, Jared Morgenstern, director of international operations of the Indiegogo company, Liz Wald and head of the Entrepreneurship Center of PACE University, New York, Bruce Bachenheimer.

The project was a great success, broke into new audiences and aroused great interest in the media as well.

In the project's third year we already have expanded the activities to dozens of cities and we held numerous events around the country, from Kiryat Shmona to Beersheba. In view of the demand we have decided to conduct the project in Tel Aviv during all  year round and entrepreneurship on tap meetings are held in the city regularly, the project reaches its peak during Global Entrepreneurship Week in November when dozens of Entrepreneurship on Tap events take place throughout the country.

As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2015 meetings on tap took place in Tel Aviv in collaboration with Tel Aviv University and the Tel Aviv municipality when all the lecturers were university graduates.
